24 seconds: Active galactic nuclei and star formation have a complex relationship, but researchers have oversimplified it because only strong AGN are detected. Past research only used x-ray data, neglecting prominent black hole activity hidden by galaxy dust. We used x-ray and infrared data from a redshift up to 2.5 to get a range of weak to strong AGN and saw their correlation to SF. Past research has found a strong correlation, but we found a weak correlation between the two.
