Alternate Assignment

Juniors who are not in a lab by the second week of February will be required to identify 3 closely related scientific papers found in peer reviewed journals and analyze them using the method we used for the Classic Paper assignments. These students will also write an introduction explaining the technical terms and concepts appearing in the papers and write a conclusion connecting the papers and suggesting possible follow up studies. Drafts must be submitted at least 1 business day before a scheduled meeting.

  • First Draft: Analysis of the second paper
  • First Draft: Analysis of the third paper
• March Meeting, Second
  • Second Draft: Analysis of the first paper

• April Meeting
  • Introduction
  • Conclusion
• On or before Friday, April 27, 2012
  • Final Draft
